Previously a research scientist at the Ohio State University in the United States. Hao’s primary research focus lies at the intersection of distributed and parallel systems and algorithms, with a specific emphasis on blockchain. He has co-authored dozens of research papers published in esteemed international conferences and journals in Computer System and Database, including SIGMOD, NSDI, PPoPP, SC, ICDE, ICS, IPDPS, TPDS, and JSAC.

Hao holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
